![]() It would kind of force the need to go to a higher difficulty with higher caps in order to level like every other single ARPG out there. Lowered caps means you couldn't reach rediculous levels in lower difficulties as the kills would stop giving you exp. ^which is precisely why i skip Elite entirely now, because i finish the game in my late 70s, means there is no point in wasting time on Elite i'd be overleveled for (for me) Otherwise you'd only have main quest to go through in the acts and you'd be very little incentivised for much of anything else Originally posted by raincloud40:Level caps for areas need to be lowered in my opinion wait what? that would just make you even more overleveled, - they were raised because people were overleveled before and didn't get any kill xp/rep/materials - so to not make the acts that much unrewarding they increased the level cap to keep up ex incase someone decided to do FG after act1 ![]() I say again, wtf are you even doing here? go play PoE, you clearly want it so bad you're about to jiz* in your pants at the thought of converting Grim Dawns gameplay into a PoE clone - just leave the forum, never look back, play PoE to your hearts content and i promise you nothing here will be missed about your decision Srs, i don't even have to engage in your thread or replies to get a migraine going because of how stupidity literally infects me through the screen just seeing your name pop up on a post - the same reason i bailed out of your previous topic the second i noticed who you were/what this dunce of creature the thread was dealing with You are so far of the bend you not only have the dev correcting you, which you ofc are arrogant enough to refute, but you sink down into such ridiculous "madness" you have the dev outright mocking and trolling you - and you learn nothing from it but rambles on and on about your besserwissen because you are so emphatically moronic you can't comprehend even the simplest point raised or counter made - not even by the dev themselves heck you might even start out a thread partially alright, but then devolve into complete lunacy with your outrageous bogus statements and assertions of "fact" - this is no longer critique hell it's worse than hubris Is no one allowed to criticize your precious game? lol i'm not angry, i'm tired - like i mention you sap the mental capacity of people with your stupid madeup bsĬriticism is fine, - that's not what you are doing in the other threads Grim Dawn isn't perfect, it has some pretty major flaws. If i missed anything or went out of order, lemme know.Īs I work on my own map and learn things about it myself, I may post another Dummies guide to map design.Originally posted by Sweeper:Why are you so angry at me dude? I THINK i covered everything i needed to. Remember: In order to make any sort of changes in the Asset Manager, the Editor must be closed. 7z) and now it’s ready for others to play, without being able to mod it themselves. Then take your now ready to play folder, compress it (i recommend. Then open up resources, grab all “.arc” files in it, and stick it into the appropriate folder. open up the database folder and grab “database.arz” and “templates.arc” and put it in the database of the other folder. Then go into the actual mod, which should be found in “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grim Dawn\mods” or wherever you might have Grim Dawn installed. Inside that folder, you want to make two folders, one named “database” and the other named “resources”. To pack it up for others to play, first make a folder somewhere that is the same name as your mods folder name (in my case it’s “Testaria mod”).
